ALI Ed Hub was founded by Paula Brill, a qualified teacher who experienced these challenges firsthand in the classroom.
After years of teaching, it became clear that educators are spending more time managing systems than focusing on what matters most — teaching and supporting learners.
"ALI Ed Hub was created to change that. Not by adding more complexity — but by building smarter, more supportive systems around education."
Paula later partnered with Trevor Coltman, a software developer with a strong technical background and a personal connection to education — having been raised by a teacher and driven to make a meaningful impact in the space.
After reconnecting, what started as a shared conversation quickly became a shared vision: to build a platform that could meaningfully improve education.
Together, they combine deep educational insight with technical expertise to build ALI Ed Hub.

ALI Ed Hub is named in honour of a principal and mentor who believed deeply in the power of education to change lives.
